You can now vibe code automations to create powerful workflows 🧑💻✨
We've seen customers building some incredible things with our Automations system. We're super excited to announce the next big leap in capabilities:
You can now use natural language to describe an integration with any system, and Unthread's AI agent will build it in seconds. Not only that, but it'll generate the automation both in code and visually so you always know what's going on.
Visually, you can use the Automation Assistant to describe an entire workflow (if statements, condition checking, actions, etc.), and see it represented in blocks.
If code is more your speed, you'll see Custom Functions now comes with an AI assistant similar to Cursor to write and review code with Claude behind the scenes.
While we already support dozens of major integrations, this is a huge step forward towards enabling you to integrate with any system and build in powerful automations that can resolve tickets end-to-end.
Don't feel like typing? You can upload a photo or sketch of a workflow and we'll take it from there
If you're more of a visual learner, no problem. You can upload a photo of your desired workflow, and we'll use what is essentially magic to create the necessary blocks and functions to make it happen.
How to get started
Head over to Automations in your Unthread dashboard, and look for the "Assistant" in the right hand panel. You can also access the vibe code editor by adding a "Custom Function" to one of your automations
Let's not forget about what else we shipped:
➡️ There's an all-new left navigation design! Look for the button in the bottom left of your dashboard to enable it and try it out.
➡️ Quick compose Slack messages by using the 📝 icon in the top right of the navigation bar.
➡️ You can now automatically save drafts of your replies to conversations even if you close your browser window
➡️ New automation step to send email with custom addresses and formatting.
➡️ The Customer Portal is now broadly available for all Unthread customers
➡️ You can use AI to modify your writing for tone, length, style, and more (see screenshot below!)
